Well, I heard that phrase recently, and it got me thinking. How can "work like a dog" mean work very hard, when most of the dogs just laze around the whole day and pick up newspapers every morning (well, those dogs they show on TV anyways).

Not to mention dogs like Paris Hilton's Chihuahua which is more pampered than regular human beings.

The reason why I can't post photos on my blog now, or even blog for that matter is because my internet connection in my house in Malaysia is incredible slow. Its simply unbelievable. It makes a 56kbps connection look like a speeding bullet! Wooshhh!

I miss the connection back in IH where everything was fast (or at least normal speed).

Facebook, oh facebook. And don't even get me started with youtube.

Ok, it may sound like I'm exaggerating, (I may be, but just a teeny bit). Let me paint you a better picture of my internet non-connection:

The things I did while waiting for my profile page on facebook to load up:

Went downstairs to make a cup of coffee
Peeked into the fridge to find a snack
Slowly walked back upstairs
Daydreamed
Baked a cake
Counted to infinity
Figured out the meaning of life
Finished reading the dictionary
Grew a beard
Discovered how to turn metal into gold
Derived all the laws of thermodynamics from scratch equipped with only a pen and a piece of paper.

And after all this, I popped back into my room and discovered that only the blue banner saying "facebook" has loaded. Oh man, 2 more hours to go!

Ok, maybe I am exaggerating (gosh, why is it I always have difficulties spelling that word.haha) on the last few. But the first few were most definitely true.. Oh streamyx, why do you torture me so.....

Can't wait for a better connection when I go back to NZ (Hopefully everything will be sorted out by then..hehe)

Yes, I'm still alive and well. Thanks for asking.

The reason why I've been missing from blogging is because the internet at home is unbearably slow. So slow, it makes watching ice melt exciting.

Sigh. Oh well, I'll be back in New Zealand in about 2 months time.

Anyways, an update on my life! I'm doing an internship with BP now (Can't say much about my job- Don't think I'm allowed to talk a lot about my job ) My boss might even be reading this now..Gasp.

Life back here is as usual.

Hmm.. I'll find something more interesting to blog about soon. In the meantime, watch this:

Ah, I can't sleep.

For some weird reason, my sleep cycle does a 360 during exam period. Its like the moment my study break starts, I turn into a nocturnal animal (not by choice). I try to sleep early but end up tossing and turning and getting back up half an hour later. Counting sheep doesn't help either (quite funny considering I'm currently in the land of sheep...baa)

So here I am! Blogging in the wee hours of the morning.

Isn't it nice to once a while just take a break from everything

To go to bed without setting your alarm clock because you know there is nothing on the next day

To wake up as late as you want and not care what time it is

To spend the afternoon listening to your favourite songs while discovering a few new ones

To stare out your window and enjoy the beautiful scenery

To play your favourite songs on the guitar over and over again till your fingers hurt

To watch comedies on your laptop while sipping iced coffee on a blazing hot day

Lolz, exams are coming up soon! but not too soon..

I only have 3 final exam this semester because one of my subject is a 100% internal paper (quite a random paper actually, but I'm not complaining because there is barely any work to do for that paper)

Classes were really fun this semester. Much better than last year where I slept through 60% of my classes. Maybe its because its due to the fact that this year all my classes were in the afternoon so I'm more awake.

So now, the semester has finally ended. I'm halfway through my degree.

And I finally have time to blog!

Hopefully I'll be able to post more photos up soon..

My results for last semester is out! Thank God for providing me with good results!!! I managed to maintain my GPA of 8.0 out of 9.0..Pheww....That's not as high as my previous GPA but I'm certainly not complaining because I thought I would fail one of my subjects...Phewww...

Finally back in Auckland after our 7 day road trip

Places we stayed were (in chronological order) : Wellington, Masterton , then back in Wellington, Kaikoura, Hanmer Springs, and finally Christchurch..

We had an awesome time eventhough it was raining the first few days..

A typical morning of a uni student

The searing pain in my head woke me up. I felt as if a thousand nails have been drilled into my head. Ignoring the constant pain wasn't a option.

So there I was, deciding whether to hit the snooze button again, or just get it over and done with. I knew there was work to be done; Questions waiting to be answered; Past year papers to be completed. Exams starts the next day. So much work, so little time.

Finally, I willed my unwilling body to get up. I drew the curtains slightly and a bright ray of light blinded me momentarily. I rubbed my eyes, struggling to regain my sight. Slowly, it came back. Scanning my room quickly I saw piles of books everywhere. Books upon books; Notes stacked on top of each other; Pens and pencils covered my floor. Some of the notes I didn't even know I have until a few days ago. The mess in my room served as a constant reminder that exams were around the corner, hiding in the shadows. Threatening to pounce on me anytime. The suspense and anxiety involved in the whole ordeal this exams was overwhelming. Affecting students physically as well as mentally. Some deal with it like its nothing; Some shiver in fear by the shear thought of sitting in a big cold hall facing a blank paper, equipped with nothing but a pen.

Shoving that thought aside, I dragged myself out of bed, still feeling groggy from studying till 5am the night before. Grabbed my tooth brush and shampoo and headed to the washroom. As I opened my room door, a blast of cold wind greeted me - with a sneaky grin.

"Darn, another cold day", I thought.

So then I went into the washroom, in a half awake, zombie-like state, essentially brain dead. Shower time! I turned on the tap without realizing that it was set to cold water instead of the usual hot water it was normally set at. Immediately, the icy cold water hit me without warning. Shocked by the sudden blast of freezing cold water, I did a little jump, fortunately landing safely back on my two feet.

Well, at least that woke me up.

After the shower, I felt much better. The pain in my head slowly subsided. The nails dropped out of my head, 1 nail at a time. I was feeling more alert now.

I drew my curtains, completely this time. Allowing the sun to brighten my room, as well as my day.

Finally my day starts!

I turned on my laptop, took out my course books and notes. With a hot cup of coffee by my side, I was ready for what was in store for me today!

Finals! Here I come!

Last week was super super fun..

Had so many gatherings, played mahjong, went Ice-skating (which was awesome), had a really good steamboat, watched a couple of nice movies, met up with people who just came back from auckland ( who I'll be meeting in 2 week's time - back in auckland..lol), spent some quality time with my family..

Looking back... I can't remember what I did this 3 months...

The only thing I remember is that I had a great time!!!

Anyways, it's been a very america-nized CNY for me...

On the way up to Ipoh, we watched 50 first dates in the car.

During CNY, we watched half a season of Everybody loves Raymond and a quarter of a season of Grey's Anatomy.

Then.. My sisters wanted to watch Atonement (Which was surprisingly very well written.... I liked the twist in the end... made it more real..)

And then we watched *gasp* Titanic on the way home..

I was like...

NOooooooooOooooooooooooOoooooooooooooo

But then, my dad was driving and my 2 sisters wanted to watch...

I was outnumbered..

Sighh..

But it turned out to be quite Ok...

Then we talked about what happened if the titanic incident all happened around this time instead of 1912..

First of all, the could have been more lifeboats.

We would have GPS to locate the ship.

We would have rescue helicopters to rescue the people..

But then again.... The titanic wouldn't have sank because the ice-berg would not have been there because Mr. Global Warming probably would have melted it before the titanic got there..

Lol..

Balu-Balu Project

As some of you know...

Some of my friends from HELP A-Levels tried to organise a trip to Kota Kinabalu to climb up the tallest peak in South East Asia - Mt Kinabalu in 2006

They called it - The Balu-Balu Project..

(I did not come out with that name..lolz...A certain someone *Cough* Michelle Yew *Cough* did)

Anyways, we didn't manage to go in the end because we did not book our accommodation early enough..

And also because we procrastinated like 2039475613451 times.

Sooo this year, I was determined to go

Rain or shine, I must climb up that big rock..

And thus there was,

Balu-Balu Project 2007

Yeah!!

Anyways, I started the climb on the 11th of November

At the foot-hill

Finally reached Laban Rata after a slow, long 5 hours climb

Stayed the night there and woke up at 2am for the morning climb

Till we reached the peak!!

I was surfing the net, doing my usual stuff today until I read..

Just so you know...I'm quite fussy about safety on the road..

I put on my safety belts when I'm in the backseat even in Malaysia (Yes..Even in Malaysia)

I don't overspeed even when the road clear

I avoid being in cars where the driver drives at 160km/hr (believe me, I do know people who speed at 200km/hr)

I REALLY disapprove speeding

I don't approve sms-ing and talking while driving too

You get the point?

Yeah, it may seem like I'm is scared to die..

But the fact is, I'm just a very careful person on the road. I really think it's a waste if you die just because of a car accident which could be avoided if you just drove a little slower.

Why speed? You would probably only safe a few minutes of time which could be easily solved by just leaving a bit earlier.

Anyways.. back to the topic..

How can the driver still be allowed on the road with 13 summonses?

How can a 20 year old bus with 19 summonses still be permitted on the road?

Does nobody care about road safety anymore?

Sighh..

I guess we just have to be more watchful on the roads (esp back in Malaysia)

I went for Lifegroup (sort of like a cell group) the other night.

We were talking about how other people relate to us.

Then, right before the end, one of our members came up with an interesting question.

Are we living the life how God wants us to live?

Are we a good influence to the people around us?

Or in other words if we were a product.... Would anyone buy us?

I found that last question there very interesting....

Frankly speaking, there are times where I wouldn't buy myself if I were a product. But there are times too where I would...

I think it's really hard to tell because you are the only person who knows what goes on throughout your life.

But I guess sometimes it's also how you treat others..

I don't know...

Would anyone buy me?

It's really how you live your life everyday. How you interact with people. The things you do. The decisions that you make. The stuff that you think. All these things count.

So...

The big question..

If you came in a box... Would anyone buy you?

TSCF Conference Part 1

I'm finally back from Waikanae!

I was there for about 6 days to attend the TSCF conference.

Waikanae is about an 9 hour drive down south from Auckland city and it's really close to Wellington and Palmerston North.

Anyways, I don't have much time to update so this is only going to be a short post.

I'll blog on the actual conference another time.

We left Auckland around 8am and started our journey to Waikanae.

About 2 hours in, we stopped at Taupo for lunch.

That's lake Taupo in the photo above. Apparently the lake is so huge, it can fit the whole Singapore in it and still have a little bit of space leftover. Lol.. According to my friend la.. Don't know how true it is.

Anyways, we continued our journey after lunch.

The view was simply awesome!

I saw snow for the very first time!!

Really beautiful!
You really have to be there to fully experience it! Photos just aren't enough

Well, I really enjoyed the ride to Waikanae even though it was an 8 hour journey. Just looking out the window reminded me of how beautiful our God made our world.

No human could ever do this.

Anyways, I gotta go now. I'll blog about the actual conference another time!

Aw man.. I did so many extreme stuff since I've arrived in New Zealand.

There's just so much to do!

Bungee jumping, zorbing, swooping, sky-diving.. you name it!!

Anyways, me and my IH (International House) friends went on a trip to West Auckland to play some paintball.

Nyahaha....

It costs a bit more then what it does in Malaysia but I was so willing to go this time since none of my friends back at home does all this stuff..

We took a taxi early in the morning to the place where it was held.

Got ourselves geared up.

Took loads of photos as usual before we started our game.

The game started off a bit slow as we didn't know how to play at first. I used up quite a number of bullets in the beginning because the paintball doesn't fly exactly in a straight line. It sort of moves in a curved line because its so windy here in Auckland.

But after 2 games, I sort of got the hang of it and used up less bullets.

Got shot soooo many times. On the face, legs, chest..etc. Heck, I even got shot on the face!

Obviously I didn't have time to take a photo of myself at that moment. It was war man!

Well, It hurt at first but after a while you don't really feel the pain.

Overall, paintball was quite fun.

Yeahh.. Life is finally picking up.

I thought That I'll be so bored during the holidays. But somehow I managed to find something to do everyday. From movie nights, to jamming sessions, to going shopping for groceries at 1am in the morning.

Oh! speaking of shopping for groceries, me and friends were walking to Food Town in the middle of the night a few days ago. A bunch of people suddenly approached us and asked for directions around Auckland.

He was like "Do you guys know the way to Boogie Wonderland?"

Lol...

I was like "Isn't that a song?"

But of course I didn't say it out lahh....Haha

With so many exams going on for the various faculties these few days, I've heard so many different comments and reactions from the students right after the come out from the exam hall..

It ranges from the normal

" Ok la........Not bad"

"Can do la...But some not sure"

"So-so lah"

To stuff like

"Aiyaaa..Shitt....I should have multiplied that...forgot..."

"Ehehh.....*face turns pale* die laa.. I put the correct answer, then I changed it last minute....sei loh"

And our famouse : "Aiks.. Die la.. This exam GG already "

*Btw, GG is a dota term which stands for "good-game" meaning that we already know that we are not gonna do well for that paper.

But the funniest reaction I heard so far is by one of my friend....

After the exam, during lunch time, he went, (who didn't look that excited btw)

"Oh shit..........I got raped by my paper (exam paper) today....."

Lol

Now, that's a new concept....

If you breezed through the paper, you can said that you raped the paper..

But if it's the other way round...

It's not that great...

Hmmm... Somehow blogger here seems to be a bit sot sot dei ( Omi-goshh.. Its been a long time since I've used that word... Sot sot dei...Lol). It takes quite some time for my blog to load up.. Haihh.. Hope it gets better soon.

Anyways, we had a small outing last week to Mission Bay which is about 30 minutes bus ride from my place.

One of the JPA KDU friend came all the way from Parlmeston North so we brought him to Misson Bay.(The same "Parlmeston North" is actually quite deceiving... At first I thought it would be somewhere north of Auckland since it is supposed to be "North".. But, Nooooo... It's actually very down south of Auckland.. Like 9-hours-drive-down-south-sort-of-south.....)

Easter Break has officially started!!!

No classes for 2 whole weeks !!!

Now, I finally have some time to relax and blog.

Anyways, here's a quick summary on what I did at Rotorua during the Easter Break!

Rotorua is one of the popular tourist spots in North Island.

It's actually a 3 hour drive down south from Auckland ( Yes.... South....Like NZ wasn't south enough...Lol)

Anyways, there's alot of fun activities to do here...

Swooping is where they hang up in the sky and let u swing around like a pendulum

Swooping is really THE thing to do at the agrodome in Rotorua..

It was an adrenaline rush all the way man..

Then there was the Agrojet.

It didn't look really thrilling at first,

But we were so wrong,

It was like sitting on a go kart, but on water.

And then there was one of the more popular things to do in Rotorua :

ZORBING!!!

I'm pretty sure some of you will be scratching your heads right now ,

Well, zorbing is where they put you in this gigantic plastic ball and roll you down the hill..

We took the zig-zag route!

And then we went Luging,

It is also like go-kart-ing, you get this mini go-kart and u slide down the hill..

It was really quite fun because we were racing with each other at some point.

The only thing that we didn't do but really wanted to is white-water rafting...

It was quite expensive and we didn't have any transport there..

Sighh...

First 3 Weeks in Moo-Moo Land Part 1

So sorry everyone!!!! I've abandoned my blog for almost 3 weeks..

Sighh..

At first I couldn't update my blog because our internet in my hostel was down.

And then when it was back up, I was too lazy to update it.

And when I did feel like blogging, I was flooded by assignments and work.

You see... Its not really my fault.

Anyways, I'll try to post as many photos I can because I know you people are too lazy to read..Hehe..

Which is even more beautiful at night! Great place to just hangout with friends, or a good place to sit by yourself and think.

We had a trip to the museum the next day!!!

Took pictures with some Mauri people. They were really cool and funny.

They even did the Haka dance for us which was really really cool. First time I've seen it live performed by the Mauri.
Took a long long walk by to my hostel through the Auckland Domain.

Hi Everybody!!!

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been trying to get use to the new place this past few days!

Auckland is not as big or as busy compared to KL.

Seriously, there are so few people walking around at night. And all the shops are closed.

So that means no more mamak-ing for me.

Sigh.

Fun trip to Nilai and Kajang!

It was a great trip!

Had the chance to meet up with Esther one last time before she left for Australia.

Haha. The only sad thing is that my college class didn't manage to go to Ipoh after talking about it for the trip for like 1 whole year...

Well, I guess it just wasn't meant to be. And I'll be leaving soon for New Zealand.. So... Haihhh...

But, I'll still be droppping by Ipoh during Chinese New Years to visit my very cute cousin.

This is my 2nd last week here in Malaysia.

I've spent most of it hanging out with friends.

Lunches, dinners, suppers.

Badminton, Tennis games.

I like this picture man.. You have no idea how many times we threw the tennis ball over the fence to get that tennis ball which looks like a black round thing at the bottom left of this picture. It's not easy taking these fast shots with my PDA cum Phone cum Camera ok? Hehe.

Well, I had lunch with Shaz and some of his friends the other day.

We had a conversation about blogs and why people blog which I found quite I quite interesting.

For me, I blog because I wanna keep in touch with some of my friends because I can't go online all the time and I don't see some of my friends often because we all live so far apart.

Then, I had a dinner with my college friends last night at Chili's 1 Utama. (Ermm..Sorry arr Shireen.. You already left when we took this photo. I don't have the photo we took earlier with you...Waiting for Michelle and HW to post it..Hehe)

They suprised me with a gigantic farewell card!

Its confirmed!!!

I'll be flying off on the 16th of February 2007 at around 9.15pm.

And my flight would be a direct flight all the way to Auckland.

Meaning, its a 10 hours and 20 minutes flight..

Sighh...What am I going during the insanely long flight?

How I wish New Zealand was just right next to Malaysia.

And I just realised that my luggage bag is really kinda small.

But that doesn't matter because we're only allowed to bring 20Kg worth of luggage up on the plane.

How in the world is that enough for a student who is going to study overseas for the first time?

Huh? Huh? Huh????

Even 30 Kg would be considered very little already..

Calm down.. Calm down....

I guess I'll just have to bring the minimal stuff and buy everything else day.

Sigh..

16th of February is less than 2 weeks from today..

Sigh..

You all can start missing me now...

My JPA Journey

It all started with this screen :

I was one of the few students who was given a full scholarship to study engineering in New Zealand by the Malaysian government a.k.a JPA. The excitement when I first received the call right in the middle of my LAN class in HELP is still fresh in my memory.

The only catch was that I had to do my pre-university in INTEC Shah Alam which is really far away. And I was halfway through my A-Levels course in HELP already, and I didn't really like the idea of suddenly switching to AUSMAT since it would cost me an extra half a year.

And the hostel there wasn't all that great.

I think even the INTEC students would have to agree with me.

Anyways, I went to the orientation there,

Which probably wasn't the most exciting thing in the world.

After much thought, I decided to stay back in HELP with my far-niee HELP classmates to finish my A-Levels course on my expense.

LOL!! I love this picture man. (During Bio class if I'm not mistaken)

We actually made all this cars DURING math class. I painted the one right in front.

Besides, we get to wear cool Lab Coats

Is that a birthday cake knife? Jin Wei's and Wen Bin's expression is priceless.

My class was the study-like-crazy-with-notes-scribbled-all-over-our-books-and-with-
words-highlighted-in-more-colours-than-the-rainbow type of class.

Really, our notes were like some Van Goh's masterpiece man... (But not mine...hehe)

Seriously, we should be in some HELP advertisement. We look so serious.

Anyways

Later on, JPA required me to take this psychology course all the way in the super friggin' cold Multi Purpose Hall in Taylor's College.

There was also the compulsory BTN (Biro Tata Negara) course in Klang somewhere in August,

Had the opportunity to sing Negaraku and Wawasan 2020 like, a gazillion times.

One thing good about JPA is that you get to meet all sorts of people who are going to different places around the world, ranging from popular countries like the US, Australia, UK, to countries like, Korea, Japan, France, Ireland, Canada, NEW ZEALAND, Indonesia, India, to even countries like Egypt, Russia etc etc...

Anyways, I just got my offer letter from the University of Auckland just a few months back and got my financial affidavit a few days later.

So I was set to go to the land where milk is cheaper than water.

But the thought of going overseas to study all by myself didn't really sink in until somewhere in December where I realized I'd actually had to stay all by myself there.

Meaning, I had to say goodbye to my friends and family here, the people I've been with for almost my entire life up to now.

Anyways, last thursday, I went back to Putrajaya for the last time (hopefully) for the pre-depature briefing by JPA.

I was pleasantly suprised to find out that there were around 100 students JPA sponsored to New Zealand and out of that, there were about 15 students going to the University of Auckland.

And best of all, we'll all be in the same flight.

So, no more worrying about being alone in the airport or getting lost in New Zealand. (Well, actually, we may still get lost, but the only difference is that we'll be lost in a big group.)

And of course, I'm very grateful to be offered this scholarship by JPA.

So, how will my Kiwi adventure turn out?

I have no idea....

Am I excited ?

Yes!

Am I Anxious?

Of course!

But, will I still go?

Definately!

Oklah, since I have so much time on my hand now, and also since the SPM results are going to be released soon, here's some tips for all you people who want to apply for JPA scholarship.

Get good grades for SPM, preferably more "A1"s
Do well in some co-curricular activities in school. Try to get some high position in clubs/societies (eg Vice President of XXX Club, prefects...etc )
Apply early.
Talk as much as you can during the interview. (Better still, talk until the panel asks you to stop. But faham-faham laa, don't go and talk nonsense).
If you still don't get the scholarship, appeal!!!! (It works sometimes).
Pray.

This week has been/still is a crazy week!!

I went to Nilai on Tuesday!

Then went to Kajang the next day!

Then all the way to Putrajaya on Thursday!

And I'll be leaving for Ipoh in a few hours time...

Will be back by Saturday evening (hopefully).

But before that!!

When the rain stopped, we went to the beach and played the public spanking and bing-bang-wahhhh around the campfire.

Actually, the games were quite chaotic because there were so many of us there.

Just imagine la... In public spanking, there were 5 of us running round the campfire with newspaper bats chasing one guy out of like ermm... 80?

The next day, we went down to the beach....

All the guys went down and made a huge human pyramid in the sea!

Unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera down because I was afraid my camera would get wet...

So, I'm still waiting for the photos by the people who brought cameras *ahem* Yong kai *ahem*.

Anyways, it was a good trip!!!

New Year's Eve last year was spent at Laundry Bar in the Curve with alot of my friends. Most of my HELP classmates were there, as well as some of the 5Sc2 and Desa Perdana People).

It was a really last minute plan.

First we wanted to go to Malacca to eat some chicken rice balls/ chicken ball rice.

But because of the floods, we had to change our plans,

We then decided on Ipoh, since we could fetch Michelle back at the same time (not to mention that we've been planning an Ipoh trip since like....forever)

But again, decided not to...Because it's actually kinda far and we all had something on the next day.

Then came our PD plan...

But that didn't last long either because of the floods...

Then after like 1 million calls....

We finally decided on.....

So we had cake!

I've been having all sorts of food these few days...

From yummy Menara Ketam,

To delicious Lala,

But there's one particular dish that I've tried that taste really wierd..

Its none other than....

The Famous Taman Connought Chao Tau Fu a.k.a Smelly Toufu!

Well, if you haven't heard or know about it yet, Taman Connought has the longest Pasar Malam in Malaysia (Thats what they tell me la...)

And some people go all the way there just to try some of their famous Chao Tau Fu.

So, what do I think of this Chao Tau Fu?

It Stinks!

Literally.

The Tau Fu couldn't be more aptly named. The person who came out with the name for it is probably a genius.

You can find Mamaks almost anywhere in KL now. And they are usually crowded with youngsters chatting away.

So, why do people choose Mamak's as their favourite night hangout?

Well, first of all, the drinks there are relatively cheap. You get to hangout with friends for as long as you want for a mere RM 1-2.

And normally, during long Yum Char sessions, the drinks normally piles up.

Last Day at SCB

Its finally my last day at SCB!!

I've learned so much throughout these 5 months. So grateful that I got this job. Otherwise, I'll be at home dota-ng all the live long day..

Logged off my PC for the very last time.

I've met with so many people here in SCB. From General managers, to regional managers, to branch managers, to service staff, to part-timers. Practically the whole food-chain of SCB.

And guess where I am at the food-chain..

Said my last good-byes to everyone on my floor. Unfortunately I was unable to meet most of my department people because everyone was on leave.

Year end..Holiday Season...

Anyways, we had a blast these few months because there were so many part-timers.

Since it was Chen Ting's, Marcuz and also my last day at work. We decided to have a farewell party.

Didn't really believe we could play baseball in 1U.

But we ended up making our way to the rooftop of the new wing.

After like 1 million tries. I finally managed to whack that ball. How I managed to do it, I have no idea.

But that didn't stop us from cam-whoring.

Shared Distribution Annual Departmental Dinner

Last night was our Annual Departmental Dinner for my department - Shared Distribution a.k.a Branch Banking at Jogoya Japanese Buffet in Starhill.

The food there was simply DELICIOUS!

I'm quite happy with this photo. Still got loads to learn about photography. Any pointers anyone?

The restaurant was just so big! I felt as if I entered another world the moment I stepped into the restaurant.

They had practically everything! From fresh squid, to snails, to Indian food, fried durian, to fresh sashimi.

Later on we discovered that we had used quite a bit of money on this dinner, so the waiter gave us some free vouchers to get some VIP only food from the buffet.

So, the 3 "C"s, Calvin, Cassie and Cynthia were appointed to go round searching for some good VIP food.

10 minutes later, Calvin came back looking really satisfied.

Their conversation went something like this :

After looking around Low Yat and Sungai Wang for weeks, I decided to go ahead and buy this model yesterday.

Don't you just love it!

Feel like staring at it the whole day long...

Its sooooooooo much faster than my old HP notebook.
